ShawnLab Terms and Conditions
These terms explain the rules that apply when you access ShawnLab or request a purchase, swap, sale or repair service. Please also review our Return and Warranty Policy.
1. General
ShawnLab provides sales, trade-in, swap and repair coordination for consumer devices. By placing an order or submitting a service request, you agree to these terms and to provide accurate information.
2. Product Sales
Used devices are inspected before listing and include the functional warranty described in our Return and Warranty Policy. Any manufacturer coverage applicable to a new device remains subject to the manufacturer terms.
3. Warranty Terms
The 30-day used-device warranty covers qualifying functionality faults under normal use. It does not cover impact damage, cracked screens, liquid exposure, unauthorized repairs, misuse or loss after delivery.
4. Swap and Sell Program
A submitted quote is provisional until ShawnLab examines the device. Value may change according to model, functionality, physical condition, lock status, included accessories and market availability. You may decline a revised assessment before a transaction is completed.
5. Ownership and Identification
Customers selling or swapping devices must be lawful owners or authorized to transact. We may request valid identification, proof of purchase or an ownership declaration and may refuse devices suspected to be lost, stolen or fraudulently obtained.
6. Payments
Purchases must be completed through an available checkout method or another method explicitly confirmed by ShawnLab. Online checkout may be operated in test mode until live payment processing is enabled. An order is not paid or confirmed until a payment has been verified.
7. Delivery and Inspection
Available delivery, pickup and inspection locations, expected timing and fees are confirmed during order processing. Delivery time estimates may change due to location, stock verification or circumstances outside reasonable control.
8. Price Adjustments and Cancellations
We may correct listing errors or revise a swap or sale valuation after inspection. Where an accepted purchase cannot be fulfilled, verified payments will be returned through the applicable payment channel, subject to gateway processing timelines.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShawnLab is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by accident, misuse, liquid exposure, third-party repair or manufacturer warranty handling. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Privacy and Changes
Contact and transaction information is used to process requests, prevent fraud and provide support. We may update these terms as services change; the version presented when your transaction is accepted governs that transaction.
11. Governing Law
These terms are intended to be governed by applicable Nigerian law. Any dispute should first be raised with ShawnLab support so the parties can attempt a practical resolution.
